Muslim indian food is great. Chinese hotel in Penang with lots of guys sitting around in tank tops and flip flops. Air Malaysia must be real successful, since I sat next to the CEO of the airline on a Malaysia Airlines flight. Apparently Mr Fernandez could not get a seat on his own airplane. KLIA is great to look at, has many high end stores and serves good soups, but what it really needs is a Seven Eleven type of convenience store. I've always wondered how Muslim girls bear the heat of the full habaya, chador etc., in those hot regions. Maybe they can tolerate the heat easier? On the way up Penang hill in a crowded railcar two women have passed out, which sort of confirmed that their life is not that easy under the black cloth in the tropical heat.
